sibu airport

I'm not sure whether this is a good news or bad news. Sibu is currently expanding their airport by a local company called Musyati Sdn Bhd costing RM136.88 million (USD 45 million).

Article from News Straits Times Online

They're probably a mistake with how they're going to spend the funding. Taxiway and car parks for RM52.44 million? WTF. Are they going to build a multi-automatic carpark system or what? Most citizens only drop-by to fetch their beloved during arrival and departure period. For Christ sake, I would think that spending more funds on the utilities and terminal building would be so much better than spending the funding on the parking areas.

it's very wrong that the higher budget are allocated for parking areas.

how could a cost of making tar on the pavement be possibly more expensive than building a better facilities?
