Personally, the benefits of being a simple lonely person are having all the time in world for oneself, do whatever you want to do most without being accustomed to others' needs, embark on what you ought to achieve personally and nobody says "No!" to you.
On the other hand, you won't have kaki GSC, kopitiam, Dota or Kbox. You probably start engaging yourself with endless sessions of monologues and criticisms.
